  The belt system has two levels:

1. Kyu's (grade) are divided into 5 levels (The counting is done backward with the highest Kyu being the lowest rank)

Gokyu - 5th kyu white

Yonkyu - 4th kyu - white

Sankyu - 3rd Brown

Nikyu - 2nd Brown

Ikkyu - 1st Brown

Sandan

Yodan

Godan

Rokudan

Shichidan

Hachidan

Kudan

DAIGOKAN KENPO GRADING IS DONE ON PERFORMANCE AND MERIT

AND CARRIES NO COST AS MOST OTHER CLUBS CHARGE A FEE WE TAKE PRIDE IN AWARDING OUR STUDENTS THE GRADE  THEY DESERVE AT NO COST 

Starting at white belt

 

 

Six to eight months and form one and two

White belt with brown tip 5th kyu

 

 

Six to eight months and form one two three  plus three 3-minute fights

White belt with two brown tips 4th kyu

 

 

Six  to eight months and form one two three and four plus four 3-minute fights

Brown belt 3rd kyu

 

 

Six to eight months and form one two tree four five plus five 3-minute fights

Brown belt with two black tips 2nd kyu

 

 

Six to eight months and form one two three fore five six plus six 3 minute fights

Brown belt with three black tips 1st kyu

 

 

One year and form one two three fore five six seven two parts plus seven 3 minute fights
